It might be worthwhile to look at the Macalester College connection. Kofi Annan is a graduate of Macalester and so too (I believe) is Kate Stanley, the Star Tribune editior writer. (So is Walter Mondale). I met Kate in 1975 when I was a cook at the student union there and she was a student. Could she have been the writer of the anti-Coleman editioral? In any event, they both drink from the same well.
